June 2006 The Club enter the Huddersfield Junior Football league , and confirm Skelmanthorpe Solo's merge with Utd to form an U14 team , under Les Hemmingway.

06 May 2006 The Club launches officially , attracting over 150 players on the day , ensuring teams @ U7/U8/U9/U10/U11/U13/U15- all with FA qualified coaches including Paul France from Huddersfield Town

The Club finalise pitches @ Shelley College as well as indoor training facilities. Fantastic support local business in terms of sponsorship from companies such as Eurotek, Volare, Angus Heron, Refreshwater ,Empire Roofing,

Johnson Flooring, Printers Mark , C& D Cleaning, Boots & TNT Logistics.

01 May 2006 : The Club is registered with County FA , and puts in place its first committee with F Scott appointed Chair , R Higgins -Club Secretary. The Club secures full PIL Insurance , and is now ready to launch

April 2006 The Group Agree name of Skelmantorpe Utd JFC , and contact County FA in regard to how to form the club officially.
