History of Our Club

Formed in Spring 2006 , by a driven group of like minded people to provide local youngsters the opportunity to play organised league football , the Club is delighted with the response from the local community.

With over 165 players taking to the field this season ,our launch has been tremedous.

Special thanks goes to the sponsors who have assisted us in providing new playing kit for ALL ages , along with other items such as training bibs, balls ,cones , water bottles , nets , corner flags etc.

The Club is also delighted to unite with Skelmanthorpe Sols's , not only providing the club with an excellent U14 team , but putting the UNITED in Skelmanthorpe as a village

The Club is also Proud to confirm a sporting agreement with Skelmanthorpe Seniors , as a route to provide junior players a way forward into open age football under the watchful eye of Junior development officer Dave Roberts.Though financially seperate clubs the benefits are obvious to all.

It was tremedous that already the Club has 4 trophies in the Hall of Honour , with the U10's winning both the Honley Cleckheaton & Dalton Tournament's this summer , joined by the U13's success also at Honley ---- A GREAT START

09.09.06 was a historic day !!!
